Valérie was recently presented with a Salvi Apollonia harp, one of only thirteen existing in the world. Manufactured in Italy, this instrument was selected for its outstanding power and rich sound, ideally suited to a concerto repertoire with symphony orchestra.
Up to now, music lovers have been able to enjoy this instrument in concert halls with exceptional acoustics, including Montreal's Maison symphonique and Bourgie Hall and Quebec's Palais Montcalm with the Orchestre symphonique de Montréal and Les Violons du Roy.
This instrument is on loan from the Canimex company of Drummondville, owned by arts patron Roger Dubois.
Valérie will release a new solo recording of her own transcriptions in April 2020 with this special instrument.
