The Harp Recital: 47 Frenzied Strings was conceived by harpist Valérie Milot in order to blend works from the traditional harp repertoire with transcriptions from the piano and the orchestral repertoire.
The public will get the chance to appreciate the endless expressive possibilities of the harp, with well known works such as Die Moldau of Smetana, as well as the pages of harp masters like Britten, Tailleferre and Tournier.
This recital is a collection of works selected from three of Valérie’s six albums recorded under the Analekta label.
A great opportunity to (re) discover this wonderful artist in a recital that will bring the spectators on a musical journey through the large spectrum of tonality and nuances expressed in Milot’s interpretation.
