The warmth of Valérie Milot and Stéphane Tétreault’s performance is built on their personal friendship. Their artistic paths have also followed similar milestones. Both named Révélation Radio-Canada at the Opus awards, each was also named to the position of “Soloist-in-Residence” of the Orchestre métropolitain de Montréal (Maestro Yannick Nézet-Séguin). On stage, these two musicians have developed a palpable symbiosis in which musicality and virtuosity are given free rein.
Moreover, both musicians play on exceptional instruments whose exceptional sound richness creates a perfect mix.. Valérie plays on one of the thirteen Salvi «Apollonia» harps existing, graciously lent by Canimex company, from Drummondville, property of Mr Roger Dubois. Stéphane plays on a Stradivarius « Countess of Stainlein, Ex-Paganini » 1707, graciously lent by Mrs Sophie Desmarais.
